This United States Regional Privacy Policy supplements and enhances IvyPanda Privacy Policy and applies to individuals residing in certain states of the US. This policy is designed to help you understand what information we collect and process, how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data, and, depending on your residency state, how to exercise your rights.
This United States Regional Privacy Policy applies to residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana and provides additional information by the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Act Concerning Personal Data Privacy and Online Monitoring, the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Utah Consumer Privacy Act, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act, and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (collectively, the “State Privacy Laws”).

Please note that the rights listed below may be limited to users and customers who are residents of the state listed and may not be available to all users. Additionally, we may not be able to process your requests regarding exercising your rights if you are unable to provide us with sufficient details and/or proof of residence in certain states.

- Right to opt-out of "sales" of personal information. "Sale" is defined broadly under Connecticut, Virginia, and California privacy laws and includes the transfer of personal information to third parties in exchange for anything of value, including but not limited to analytics and security providers.
Some states grant the right to opt-out of automated processing or profiling personal data used to make significant decisions directly affecting your interests, for example, legal, employment, or credit decisions. In cases where we engage in profiling or automated processing to prevent, protect against, detect, or respond to illegal or fraudulent activity, we are not obliged to offer the right to opt out. Otherwise, we do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling as defined under the State Privacy laws.
How to Exercise Your Rights

Limiting use or deleting your personal information may impact your interaction with our Services and access to your orders.
While we do not sell personal information for money, we may use certain services that help us deliver interest-based advertising to you. The State Privacy Laws may classify our use of these services as "sharing" or "selling" you personal information to providers of these services. You can opt out of selling or sharing personal information for interest-based advertising and related tracking through your account privacy settings.
California residents can also opt out of by broadcasting the Global Privacy Control signal from a supported browser. Our Services are prohibited for use by consumers under 18 years of age. We do not know that we collect, process, "sell," or "share" the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age for interest-based advertising.
Please note that you may still see generalized ads after opting out of targeted advertising.
Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers allow you to submit a "Do-Not-Track" signal to websites and online services you visit. If you choose to turn on a DNT (Do-Not-Track) browser mechanism, we will not track that User's activities, use advertising, or plant cookies.
Verification and Authorized agents
In some cases, we may need to verify your identity to fulfill your request and exercise your right to access, know, correct, appeal, or delete personal information. We reserve the right to confirm your residence and identity and deny your request if we are unable to verify this information. As a part of this process, we may ask you to submit a copy of your government-issued identification.
You have the right to designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. In this case, we will ask you and the authorized agent to provide valid government-issued identification to verify the authenticity of the request directly with you.
Accessibility, Appeals, and Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights. We won't deny you any services, charge you different rates, or provide you with a different quality of services.

California Consumer Privacy Notice
This California Consumer Privacy Notice supplements IvyPanda's Privacy Policy and United States Regional Privacy Policy. This Notice applies to the personal information we collect online about California consumers. In this Notice, we use terms that have the meaning given to them in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020) and its implementing regulations (collectively, the "CCPA").
What Personal Information We Collect
We may collect and may have collected during the 12-month period prior to the Last Updated date of this Notice the following categories of your personal information:
- Identifiers: information that identifies you, including your name, email address, unique personal identifiers such as a device identifier and/or IP address, and, in some cases, government-issued ID documents which we may ask you to provide to prevent illegal or fraudulent activities and money laundering.

Still, we may share your personal information with third parties, such as advertising services, to collect personal information of our users and customers through automated technologies on our website for targeted advertising purposes. We do not knowingly or intentionally share or sell the personal information of minors younger than 18.

This Colorado Privacy Notice supplements IvyPanda's Privacy Policy and United States Regional Privacy Policy. This Notice applies to personal information we collect online about Colorado consumers. In this Notice, we use terms that have the meaning given to them in Colorado Privacy Act (the "CPA").

Sensitive and Children Personal Information
At IvyPanda, we do not knowingly collect, process, store, or share sensitive information about you, including your precise location (GPS coordinates), race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, or union membership, any details concerning your health condition, biometric data, such as fingerprints or facial recognition, citizenship or immigration status, or any other as the term "Sensitive data" is defined under the CPA.
We do not knowingly process personal information from children under the age of 13.
